Our Story Living in Turtling Bay

A home we truly love, and a community we never expected to find

More Than a Property — A Way of Living

We truly love this home. From the moment we settled in, it became more than just a place to live—it became part of our daily rhythm, our routines, and the life we built here. We’ve had so many plans for what we wanted to do with it, ideas that we haven’t even had the chance to start or finish yet.

What makes this home special isn’t just the structure—it’s how it feels to be here. There’s a calmness, a sense of space, and a connection to the surroundings that’s hard to explain until you experience it yourself.

Our dogs have loved it just as much as we have. They’ve had the freedom to explore, while still being safely within our view. Watching them enjoy the space has been one of the quiet joys of living here.

And then there’s the community. The neighbors here are incredible—genuinely kind, supportive, and connected. It’s the kind of place where people look out for each other. There’s a shared pride in the area, whether it’s through the community WhatsApp groups, the 911 support network, or just everyday interactions.

This is one of those rare places that feels tucked away and private, almost unseen to the outside world, yet deeply connected to the people within it.

We want to be very clear about something—there is nothing wrong with this home, and nothing wrong with this community. If anything, it’s the opposite.

We’re leaving because of our own physical limitations. We need a home that sits fully on the ground, without stairs, to better support where we are now. It’s a practical decision, not an emotional one.

Whoever chooses this home will step into something that goes beyond expectations. It’s not just a house—it’s a lifestyle, a setting, and a community that welcomes you in ways you don’t always see coming.
